Nightmare of Mensis

Bloodborne guide · After passing through the Lecture Building
← All areas in this guide

You arrive in a twisted dreamscape illuminated by an eerie glowing tower that inflicts Frenzy on anyone caught in its line of sight. You must advance up the rocky path, breach the grand citadel, and ascend past Micolash to face Mergo's Wet Nurse at the summit. Along the way, you can pull a lever to drop the source of the Frenzy into an abyss to safely explore the lower depths.

Tips

  • Stock up on Sedatives and wear the Ashen Hunter set to increase your Frenzy resistance before crossing the open bridges.
  • You can use Poison Knives to whittle down Micolash from the balcony above before dropping into the final room with him.
  • When Mergo's Wet Nurse shrouds the arena in purple fog, focus on running clockwise along the edge of the arena instead of attacking until the darkness fades.
