The chapter concludes with the defense of Vergen and a confrontation that decides Henselt's fate.

Tips

Always roll backward immediately after depleting a Rotfiend's health bar, as its corpse will explode in a wide radius and inflict heavy damage.
Craft and drink a Cat potion before entering the subterranean dwarven mines, as darkness makes navigating the labyrinthine tunnels and spotting necrophages very difficult.
When clearing the mist during "The Eternal Battle", you will temporarily control other characters; rely entirely on parrying and fast strikes since you will not have access to Geralt's signs or inventory.
