Musashi enters the grounds of the palace to track down the source of a disturbance during the mission "What Lurks in the Shadows". The player navigates corruption-covered courtyards and rooftops past palace Spirit Mirrors toward the Oikeniwa Pond Garden. The sequence culminates in a boss duel against Greater Nue, followed by the tragic confrontation where Musashi must put down the transformed Hinagiku.
