Onimusha: Way of the Sword guide · Musashi enters the corrupted capital city hub for the first time

After arriving in the corrupted capital during "Kyoto, Corrupted," Musashi learns from Takamura that the Oni Gauntlet has fallen dormant and needs Malice cleansed to awaken Shizuka. Players explore Eastern Kyoto as an open hub to defeat invading Genma, rescue attacked citizens, and seal both the northern and western Malice Rifts before returning to base.

Tips

Activate the Johari Shard by pressing LT+RT to spawn a guiding golden wisp that leads directly toward active objectives or marked map waypoints.
When Kubi Akari enlarge and shine blue, shoot them with the Oni Bow to trigger an explosive blast, and parry Togemaru while it spins across the ground.
