Onimusha: Way of the Sword guide · Musashi tracks the storm back to Kennin-ji to eliminate twin Genma

Musashi returns to Kennin-ji Temple during the quest to eliminate the recurring twin Genma brothers. You must defeat normal Genma while braving environmental wind and lightning hazards across two Rifts in the temple grounds. Once both Rifts are purified, an Oni Gate opens into the Oni Refuge arena where Musashi faces both brothers simultaneously.

Enemies

Ifuu

Wields gale-based axe strikes, summons tornadoes, and charges his wind pouch during his enraged phase

Burai

Attacks with lightning and thunder strikes, summons electric charges along the ground, and uses a decoy stance on one leg

Tips

Target Ifuu's back pouch with the Oni Bow while it inflates during Tornado Beat to cancel the attack and stun him.
The twin Genma's joint Duo Slash cannot be avoided by dodging, so prepare to Parry or Deflect the incoming blow.
In the first temple courtyard Rift, lead regular Genma into Ifuu's active twisters to inflict passive damage on the mob.
