Mass Effect 2 (Legendary Edition) guide · Recruiting Archangel and Mordin

Commander Shepard travels to the lawless asteroid station Omega to recruit the brilliant salarian scientist Dr. Mordin Solus and the vigilante known as Archangel. Shepard must navigate a quarantined district ravaged by a deadly plague to reach Mordin's clinic, and then infiltrate a mercenary strike team operating in the lower wards to reach Archangel's fortified stronghold. Completing both recruitments secures essential squadmates, unlocks the Normandy's main research terminal, and opens up the rest of the galaxy.

You can sabotage the Blue Suns heavy gunship before the Archangel siege begins by speaking with the mechanic repairing it and choosing the Renegade interrupt.Siding with or sparing Patriarch by convincing him to run or helping him face assassins resolves his feud with Aria without directly fighting the station's former ruler yourself.

Tips

Take the Renegade interrupt to zap the Blue Suns mercenary gunship mechanic with a datapad to cut the gunship's health in half for the upcoming boss fight.
Bring squadmates with Incinerate, Warp, or Incendiary Ammo to both missions to counter Vorcha health regeneration and burn through Blood Pack armor.
Close the blast doors in Archangel's basement quickly before enemy reinforcements swarm your flanks and overwhelm your position.
Speak with Aria T'Loak at Afterlife before exploring Omega to gain vital mission leads, local lore, and access to secure areas.
