Tips
- Assign Legion, Tali, or Kasumi to the vents during the infiltration phase, as other specialists will fail to hack the door in time.
- Choose Garrus, Miranda, or Jacob to command the fireteams to ensure the survival of both team leaders and the tech specialist.
- Select Samara, Morinth, or Jack to maintain the biotic field to ensure no squad members are carried off by the seeker swarm.
- Send an uninjured, loyal combatant like Mordin, Tali, Jack, or Kasumi as the crew escort to guarantee the rescued crew reaches the Normandy safely without taking heavy combat roles away from the final hold-the-line defense.
- Do not take the squad's strongest defensive anchors (Garrus, Grunt, and Zaeed) to the final boss fight, as leaving them behind is critical to keeping the remaining team alive while holding the door.
- Destroying the four support tubes under the platform during the first phase of the Human-Reaper battle causes it to fall into the abyss before it returns for the main confrontation.
