God of War guide · Exploring the Lake of Nine after the water drops

Lookout Tower is an optional region located along the southern shores of the Lake of Nine, accessed by docking a boat at its beach. As the water level lowers, more vertical climbing paths and spike-trap puzzles are revealed to traverse up the cliff face. It contains hidden collectibles, a Nornir Chest, and an encounter tied to the dead crew of Captain Valkyrie favor.

Tips

To open the Nornir Chest, throw your Leviathan Axe at the rotating paddles to temporarily lower the ground spikes, giving you brief windows to strike the rune bells.
Return to the Lookout Tower after the World Serpent lowers the water level a second time to access newly exposed areas and climbing paths.
