Konunsgard

God of War guide · Exploring the dwarven stronghold

Konunsgard is a large, secluded region unlocked during the "Hail to the King" favor given by Brok and Sindri. Kratos and Atreus must free the dragon Reginn and collect three entry stones scattered across the valley to breach the inner dwarven stronghold. Inside the fortress, you retrieve the ingredients to forge an armor set and discover the fate of King Motshognir.

Hel-Walker

Weak to Fire attacks (Blades of Chaos)

Immune to Leviathan Axe frost damage; switch exclusively to the Blades of Chaos.

Traveler

Weak to Parrying overhead strikesSteal / drop Traveler's Armor Shards

Heavy armored warrior carrying a greatsword; evade its charged explosive ritual or interrupt it with a ranged axe throw.

Shops and people

Sindri's Shop: Upgrades and crafting services, including the Huldra Brothers' armor sets unlocked upon finishing the questline.

Tips

Shoot down the three dragon shrines binding Reginn before attempting to approach the central anchor pedestal to release him.
Equip the Blades of Chaos when exploring the outer reaches to clear red bramble and deal with frost-aligned enemies effectively.
