Central Research
Jesse Faden returns to Central Research during the main mission "Old Boys' Club" after securing Dr. Darling's HRA machine in the Dimensional Research lab. The player must navigate back through the multi-level atrium to reach the Board Room or Dr. Darling's office to complete the HRA distribution sequence. This visit involves clearing out newly spawned Hiss forces occupying the open terraces and corridors of the sector.

Enemies
Basic ranged infantry with standard firearms that will shoot from upper balconies.
Elite armed Hiss soldier carrying shotguns or assault rifles, often using cover.
Flying entity that dodges standard Launch attacks and hurls chunks of concrete at Jesse.
Floating sphere of resonant energy that heals nearby Hiss forces and must be eliminated first.
Tips
- Focus your fire on any nearby Hiss Clusters before attempting to eliminate heavy combatants, as they will quickly undo any damage dealt to enemy units.
- Use the Service Weapon's Pierce or Shatter form in conjunction with Launch to stagger Hiss Elevated units who run out of stamina after dodging.
- Keep moving vertically between the stairs and cover points; lingering on the ground floor leaves Jesse exposed to fire from the high balconies above.
