The Hidden Gorge is a carved canyon settlement found along the right side of the river within the Stranger. It contains multiple vertical multi-story dwellings, slide burning rooms, and laboratory workshops used to study the simulation. Exploring here reveals how to reach the dream world via the local green fire chamber and leads into the experimental laboratory in the breach.

Hull Breach Laboratory | Look for a blown-out section of the Stranger's exterior near the gorge, exit using your spacesuit, and fly through the hull breach into the hidden testing room.Behind the Slide Reel Room Painting | Extinguish the candles in the large building across the bridge to reveal an opening behind a mural leading into a hidden vault room.

Tips

You can use the light-sensitive elevator on the cliffside to quickly travel between the lower river path and the upper houses.
Use your flashlight to rotate the hanging solar-panel lanterns that control doors and bridges throughout the gorge.
