OCTOPATH TRAVELER™ guide · A snowy town in the Frostlands

Northreach is a frigid, fortified town located at the northern edge of the Frostlands. It serves as the staging ground for Chapter 4 of Therion's quest, in which he pursues Darius into the nearby abandoned cathedral. Beyond the main story, players visit the town to complete side quests, recruit high-level townsfolk, and purchase high-end end-game gear.

Tips

Many citizens in Northreach carry high-level equipment that can be stolen with Therion or purchased with Tressa, making it a great place to gear up before Chapter 4 boss fights.
Therion must enter the Lorn Cathedral directly from the town's northern gate to progress his final chapter, so prepare equipment with resistance to Fire and physical attacks before heading in.
