Entering the Unity: Resets the game world into New Game Plus, temporarily resetting outposts, faction quest progress, and relationships (though achievements can still be earned in the new cycle).

Recommended order

Step 1

Begin the campaign on Vectera and progress through the Kreet Research Lab to unlock basic story progression achievements and reach New Atlantis.
Step 2

Report to The Lodge to join Constellation, recruit companions, and start working on companion affinity achievements through active conversations and shared exploration.
Step 3

Travel back to the Argos Extractors Mining Outpost to recruit Lin and Heller for crew assignment achievements.
Step 4

Complete the early main story missions visiting Nova Galactic Staryard, Indum II, and The Scow while gathering resources and establishing your first outpost network for extraction and cargo link achievements.
Step 5

Visit Akila City and enter The Rock to complete the entire Freestar Collective faction storyline for its associated quest achievements.
Step 6

Travel to Neon, head to Ryujin Tower, and play through the full Ryujin Industries espionage questline to earn all corporate quest achievements.
Step 7

Infiltrate or join the Crimson Fleet at The Key and infiltrate SY-920 during the UC Vanguard and Crimson Fleet storyline, completing the chain to secure the fleet faction achievements.
Step 8

Go to Cydonia on Mars to fulfill United Colonies faction quests and craft items, modify weapons, and build ships at the local technician stations.
Step 9

Progress through the late campaign at NASA Launch Facility and Masada III, ensuring you unlock all starborn powers, collect organic/inorganic resources, and survey star systems.
Step 10

Enter the Unity to complete the main story, unlocking the final campaign achievements, and use New Atlantis (New Game Plus), The Key (New Game Plus), Akila City (New Game Plus), Cydonia (New Game Plus), or Masada III (New Game Plus) only if you still need remaining levels, crafting, or general cumulative milestones.

Supra et Ultra 36.7% of players Join the UC Vanguard Enlist with the United Colonies Vanguard by completing the orientation exam and swearing the oath in the MAST building. Where: New Atlantis

Deputized 36.3% of players Join the Freestar Rangers Complete the quest "Deputized" by solving the hostage crisis at the bank and speaking with Emma Wilcox at The Rock in Akila City. Where: The Rock

One Giant Leap 19.7% of players Complete "One Giant Leap" Build the Armillary on your ship, power up the Grav Drive, and jump into the Unity to complete the main campaign.

Guilty Parties 19.5% of players Complete "Guilty Parties" Complete the Ryujin Industries faction quest "Guilty Parties" by investigating the mole operating inside the company. Where: Neon

Another Bug Hunt Cumulative 18.8% of players Eliminate 300 Creatures Kill a cumulative total of 300 alien creatures found across the various planets and moons.

Space Opera 18.6% of players Reach Level 50 Accumulate enough experience points from combat, exploration, and missions to reach player level 50.

Replicator Cumulative 18.1% of players Craft 100 Items Craft a total of 100 items at any industrial workbench, cooking station, or pharmaceutical lab.

Executive Level 17.8% of players Complete "Executive Level" Complete the final mission of the Ryujin Industries faction storyline by securing the board's vote during the executive meeting. Where: Ryujin Tower

Starcrossed 17% of players Reach Maximum Relationship Level with a Companion Increase your affinity with a Constellation companion through dialogue and actions, then complete their personal companion quest and commit to a relationship. Where: The Lodge

Soldier of Fortune 16.2% of players Mod 50 Weapons Install a cumulative total of 50 modifications onto weapons using any Weapon Workbench.

I Use Them For Smuggling 14.2% of players Successfully Smuggle Contraband Equip your ship with shielded cargo holds or a scan jammer, then successfully pass a planetary contraband scan while carrying illicit goods.

Thirst for Knowledge 14.1% of players Read 20 Skill Magazines Find and read 20 different skill-boosting magazines scattered throughout settled and unsettled space.

The Family You Choose 10% of players Recruit 10 Separate Companions Hire or recruit 10 different named companions or generic crew members from bars, spaceports, and Constellation.

Boots on the Ground 9.9% of players Land on 100 Planets Touch down and set foot on the surface of 100 unique planets or moons.

Rock Collection 8.5% of players Gather 500 Inorganic Resources Mine or harvest a cumulative total of 500 inorganic mineral resources using a Cutter or by hand.

Fleet Commander 8.3% of players Collect 10 Ships Own a fleet of 10 ships simultaneously by purchasing them, receiving them as quest rewards, or boarding and registering captured vessels.

Reach for the Stars 6.8% of players Reach Level 100 Earn enough experience points from completing quests, crafting, surveying, and defeating enemies to reach player level 100.

What Remains 6.5% of players Complete “What Remains” Complete the main story quest "What Remains" in the Shattered Space expansion by investigating the missing members of House Va'ruun.
