Mount Horu
Ori and the Blind Forest: Definitive Edition guide · Ori restores the element of Warmth
← All areas in this guide
Mount Horu is the final dungeon of the game, filled with deadly lava and environmental hazards. Ori must explore several side chambers branching off a central cavern to stop the flow of lava blocking the descent. Once the lava is fully drained, Ori reaches the core to restore the element of Warmth and triggers the final escape sequence from Kuro.

Tips
- You cannot save manually during the final escape sequence against Kuro, so focus entirely on continuous movement and memorizing the obstacle patterns.
- Use Bash on the projectiles fired by lava spitters and worms to gain extra height and redirect shots into weak walls or obstacles.
- Keep the Charge Jump and Glide abilities ready, as several chambers require quick transitions between rising vertical drafts and dodging falling lava.
