Ginso Tree

Ori and the Blind Forest: Definitive Edition guide · Ori restores the element of Waters
← All areas in this guide

Ori climbs to the top of the Ginso Tree to cleanse its corrupted heart and restore the Element of Waters. The ascent relies heavily on directional portals and the newly acquired Bash ability to redirect projectiles and reach high platforms. Once the heart is cleansed, rising water triggers a fast-paced vertical escape sequence where Ori must climb rapidly to avoid drowning.

Tips

  • In the Definitive Edition, you can return to the Ginso Tree after completing it, so items inside are no longer permanently missable.
  • During the rising water escape sequence, prioritize chaining Bashes on falling lanterns and enemy projectiles rather than looking for stable ground to stand on.
  • Aiming Bash briefly freezes time, which gives you valuable moments to plan your trajectory during tight portal jumps.
