The Athenaeum
The Athenaeum is an ancient, hidden vault accessed through an archway deep beneath the Restricted Section of the Hogwarts Library during the "Secrets of the Restricted Section" main quest. In this area, players must traverse floating platforms summoned by hitting rune targets with basic casts and defeat ancient Pensieve guardians. The goal is to reach the central chamber at the end to retrieve an ancient book tied to ancient magic.

Enemies
Large stone guardian armed with a hammer that performs sweeping attacks and ground slams.
Smaller stone automaton that attacks in groups with sword strikes.
Tips
- Look above the collapsed bridge gaps for circular rune targets, which you must strike with Basic Cast to make the floor segments materialize.
- Be ready to dodge or parry immediately after crossing into new rooms, as Pensieve Sentries and Protectors activate as soon as you step onto their platforms.
- This area cannot be re-entered after finishing the quest, so ensure you grab all side chests before interacting with the book in the final chamber.
