After escaping the dragon attack, you and Professor Fig enter Gringotts to access Vault 12. You must navigate the dark caverns by casting Revelio and Lumos, align mysterious reflections, and awaken ancient guardians. Surviving waves of statue guardians leads through a Pensieve memory and into the main plot.

A hidden chest sits at the back of the cavern just before entering the main reflection room; use Revelio to light it up.

Enemies

Ancient Stone Guardian

Attacks with sweeping ground strikes that can be parried with Protego or avoided with Dodge Roll.

Ancient Stone Sentry

Smaller statues that swarm in groups; use Basic Cast and Stupefy to break their momentum.

Tips

Practice timing Protego precisely when the golden halo appears above your head to reflect damage with Stupefy.
You cannot return to this Gringotts vault area later in the game, so open every chest you spot before triggering the Pensieve.
If you lose track of where to walk in the dark, cast Lumos and follow the magical light traces along the floor.
