The Surface
The Surface is an alternate upstairs route Melinoë unlocks by dispelling the ward blocking the way above the Crossroads. Once the curse depleting her life on the surface is lifted via an incantation, she fights through the ruined city of Ephyra and across the war-torn sea toward Mount Olympus. The primary objective is to break the siege on Mount Olympus and confront the forces assaulting the gods.

Tips
- Perform the "Unraveling a Fateful Bond" incantation at the cauldron as soon as possible, or Melinoë will rapidly lose health while walking on the Surface.
- In Ephyra, look for golden barriers across pylons and clear encounters within connected side alleys to break the seals blocking the way forward.
