Voodoo Boys Hideout

Located in the crypt underneath the chapel in Pacifica, this serves as the primary base of operations for the Voodoo Boys. During the mission Transmission, V is brought here by Brigitte to submerge into an ice-filled tub and breach the Blackwall in Cyberspace. Depending on earlier choices made with the NetWatch agent in the Grand Imperial Mall, this room either remains peaceful or erupts into a hostile combat encounter upon returning from the Net.

Enemies: Brigitte (if siding with NetWatch) and Voodoo Boys Netrunners, Heavies, and Grunts

Threats: Overheat/Short Circuit quickhacks, shotguns, heavy machine guns, sustained crossfire in an enclosed hall

Weaknesses and resistances: Vulnerable to EMP/Shock, headshots, and cyberware disruption

Tactics: Take immediate cover behind the ice bath server pillars, neutralize the netrunners in the central chamber to halt upload attacks, and push down the main altar corridor using high-damage burst weapons

Rewards: Placide's Key, access to Placide's office, rare/epic armor components, and looted high-tier tech weapons

Threats: High health pool, Sandevistan gap-closer dashes, heavy melee knockback, high-damage tech shotgun blast, EMP/Flash resistance

Weaknesses and resistances: Vulnerable to Chemical and Thermal damage, Cripple Movement quickhack, and flanking blindspots

Tactics: Keep distance from his shotgun range, utilize the entrance archway as a natural chokepoint, bait out his Sandevistan dash, and target his head with Thermal/Chemical weapons or heavy explosives

Rewards: Timeworn Trenchcoat (Legendary Outer Torso), Placide's Key, street cred, and large amount of Eurodollars

Tips

Siding with the NetWatch agent during the prior quest causes the Voodoo Boys inside the hideout to be pre-emptively fried, letting you safely loot the inner crypt before fighting Placide.
If you plan to kill the Voodoo Boys yourself, prioritize taking out the Netrunners quickly, as their remote Overheat and Short Circuit hacks deal severe continuous damage.
