Following the failed Konpeki Plaza heist, V wakes up in Viktor's clinic to learn the fatal nature of the Relic chip installed in their neural socket. The player speaks with Viktor to get a medical diagnosis, receives medication to stabilize their condition, and takes back their personal belongings from the table before leaving. Misty then escorts V back to their apartment, transitioning the game into Act 2.

- Pay off your remaining 21,000 Eurodollar debt to Viktor when you have the funds, as doing so unlocks his full ripperdoc cyberware inventory.
- Be sure to interact with the medical table right beside your chair immediately after getting up to retrieve all your carried weapons and equipment.
