Confidants represent your social links in Tokyo, granting combat perks, fusion bonuses, and daily quality-of-life abilities as their ranks increase. Managing your calendar to spend time with the right allies while balancing your five Social Stats is the core loop of daily life. Certain Confidants are mandatory to prioritize if you wish to unlock the third semester story arc.

Tips

Prioritize Chihaya Mifune to Rank 5 as early as possible so you can use her daily readings to avoid non-ranking hangout sessions.
Prioritize Ryuji Sakamoto to Rank 7 early to gain Insta-kill, which allows you to dash directly through lower-level shadows in Mementos for instant EXP, money, and Personas.
Do not spend time hanging out with a Confidant if the game warns you that your bond will not deepen yet; use Fortune readings or the Meiji Shrine instead.
