KINGDOM HEARTS FINAL MIX guide · Return visit for the Hades Cup

Sora and companions return to Olympus Coliseum late in the game after sealing Hollow Bastion to participate in the ultimate tournament, the Hades Cup. Completing this massive 50-seed gauntlet pits the party against numerous bosses including Hades and the Rock Titan, unlocking powerful spells, weapons, and special time trial and solo modes. It is also the venue for optional end-game bouts against the Ice Titan and Sephiroth once requirements are met.

Re-entering the Hades Cup allows you to select specific starting seeds (Seed 49, 39, 29, 19, or 9) once you have cleared them, making it easy to practice against late-tournament bosses without repeating the whole gauntlet.Defeating the full 50-seed Hades Cup unlocks two new trial modes for it: Sora Alone (solo challenge) and Time Attack (complete the tournament within a time limit).

Hades

Weak to Blizzard

Casts fiery cone and beam attacks that make him invulnerable while moving; use Blizzard magic to extinguish his flames and stun him.

Rock Titan

Extremely slow and towering boss; stagger him by attacking his feet until he collapses, then climb or jump onto his heads to deal massive damage.

Ice Titan

Weak to Fire

Optional Gold Match boss; deflect his launched icicles back at him with Guard or weapon swings to stun him and deplete his health.

Sephiroth

Optional Platinum Match boss featuring extreme speed, sweeping sword range, and the deadly Sin Harvest attack that reduces Sora's HP to 1 and MP to 0.

Tips

Set Strike Raid or Superglide to your shortcuts/abilities for the Sephiroth fight, as Strike Raid grants invincibility frames and Superglide allows you to cross the arena quickly to interrupt Sin Harvest.
Equip the Guard ability for the Ice Titan encounter, as reflected projectiles deal the vast majority of the damage against him.
