KINGDOM HEARTS FINAL MIX guide · Second world visited after Traverse Town

Sora, Donald, and Goofy visit the Olympus Coliseum to become true heroes, but trainer Philoctetes initially refuses to train them. After completing trials to prove their worth, they are manipulated by Hades into entering the tournament preludes where they must fight Cloud and Cerberus. Returning later in the game opens up optional ranked tournament cups with unique rewards and super-boss challenges.

Dodge his dark shadow puddles by gliding or rolling, and jump onto his back to strike the side heads safely.

Cloud

Uses dash attacks that can be parried; evade when he surrounds himself with golden light and flies across the arena.

Phil: Offers barrel-breaking mini-games and entry to tournament cups as they unlock throughout the story

Tips

Rolling directly into the large decorative urns outside the Coliseum arena can yield Tech Tech balls and health orbs.
Equip the Dodge Roll ability learned from Traverse Town to effectively evade Cerberus's biting attacks and fireballs.
Entering the Phil Cup later becomes an efficient early-game method for grinding experience and Tech Points.
