Krone Pass is the mountain border checkpoint situated between the Bose and Ruan regions. At the start of Chapter 2, Estelle and Joshua stop here to rest and process their travel permits, suddenly teaming up with Agate Crosner to defend the outpost from attacking monsters before proceeding into Ruan.

Crossing the western border gate into Ruan permanently closes off return access to the Bose region for the chapter, so ensure all Bose tasks are finished before speaking to the guard.
