Royal Virtues represent five character metrics—Courage, Wisdom, Tolerance, Eloquence, and Imagination—essential for qualifying to debate rival throne claimants and unlocking Follower bond ranks. Players improve them across the calendar by reading books aboard the Gauntlet Runner, finishing town requests, and engaging in town pastimes or podium speeches. Maxing out each virtue is mandatory to complete all follower relationships and achieve full ranking on the tournament leaderboard.

The debate with Lina occurs at Stairstone Market in Martira by speaking at the debate podium on 07/07, answering "What are your policies?", and missing that designated calendar appearance forfeits the debate match and the "Debate Me" achievement.
