Pride Lands (Second Visit)
Sora and the party return to the Pride Lands to investigate sightings of Scar's lingering ghost that are haunting Simba and troubling the Pride. After tracking the apparitions through the Savannah and consult with Rafiki, Simba overcomes his self-doubt and confronts the manifestation of his guilt. The visit culminates in an expansive battle against the colossal Groundshaker Heartless in the Savannah.
Enemies
A colossal Heartless fought in two phases, requiring you to damage its legs, climb onto its back, and target the shaman eye-stalk head.
A large dinosaur-like Heartless that charges and sweeps; using Magnet grounds it effectively.
A dangerous spellcasting Heartless that can transform into an invulnerable mask form and cast high-damage curses.
Tips
- Running up the fallen trunk to reach the Groundshaker's back lets you target its main head for significantly more damage.
- The Reaction Command "Ride" triggers when Groundshaker is stunned, allowing you to jump atop it safely and bypass its ground stomps.
- Simba's Limit command "Proud Fang" grants full invulnerability during its animation and deals heavy damage to large mobs in the Savannah.
- Equipping Fire-resistant gear helps mitigate damage from Groundshaker's sweeping flame breath and volcanic floor hazards.
