Passing through Verte Bridge into the Bose region: Rolent, Rolent Sewers, Malga Trail, Esmelas Tower, Milch Main Road, and Mistwald can no longer be explored, locking out any unfinished Rolent requests, chests, or missable Carnelia volumes.
Crossing the Krone Pass checkpoint into Ruan: Bose, West/East Bose Highway, Ravennue Trail, Abandoned Mine, and Nebel Valley become inaccessible.
Exiting through Kaldia Tunnel past the Zeiss checkpoint: Ruan, Manoria Village, Manoria Byroad, and Gull Seaside Way can no longer be visited.
Passing through Sanktheim Gate and Gurune Gate toward Grancel: Zeiss, Tratt Plains Road, Elmo Village, Carnelia Tower, Limestone Cave, and Leiston Fortress are cut off.
Descending into the underground Sealed Area beneath Grancel Castle: Grancel city shops, side content, and book turn-ins are locked for the remainder of the playthrough.

Recommended order

Step 1

Start Playthrough 1 on Normal or Nightmare difficulty, making manual rotating saves at every new story phase.
Step 2

Clear the Prologue in Rolent, clearing Rolent Sewers, Malga Trail, Esmelas Tower, Milch Main Road, and Mistwald, looting every chest, scanning every enemy, beating the regional Shining Pom, and securing Carnelia Chapter 1 and maximum Bracer Points (BP).
Step 3

Proceed past Verte Bridge into Chapter 1, covering East Bose Highway, City of Bose, West Bose Highway, Ravennue Trail, Abandoned Mine, Nebel Valley, and the Sky Bandit Stronghold while acquiring every recipe, issue of Liberl News, and Carnelia volume.
Step 4

Traverse Krone Pass and Krone Trail into Chapter 2, scouring Manoria Byroad, Manoria Village, and Gull Seaside Way for road bounties, all fish at Valleria, and every campus request.
Step 5

Advance to Chapter 3 through Kaldia Tunnel into the City of Zeiss, fully exploring Tratt Plains Road, Elmo Village, Carnelia Tower, Limestone Cave, Ritter Roadway, Soldat Army Road, and Leiston Fortress (making sure to scan fortress patrol dogs during stealth).
Step 6

Cross Sanktheim Gate and Gurune Gate into the Final Chapter in the City of Grancel, winning all Grand Arena tournament rounds, checking sewers, and combing Kirsche Avenue, Erbe Scenic Route, Erbe Royal Villa, and Grancel Castle.
Step 7

Trade the full set of Carnelia books for the ultimate weapon before entering the final dungeon, then complete the Sealed Area while defeating Lt. Lorence and the final boss to achieve Junior Bracer Rank 1.
Step 8

Start New Game Plus to clean up the Lv100 boss challenge, finish cumulative battle milestones, and complete Nightmare difficulty if not finished initially.
