Step 1

Play through Human or Devil Hunter difficulty to learn mechanics, defeat bosses, grab initial Blue/Purple Orbs, and complete Secret Missions.
Step 2

Clear Son of Spadarda difficulty to unlock Dante Must Die and purchase remaining upgrades and skills.
Step 3

Clear Dante Must Die difficulty to unlock Super Costumes and Heaven or Hell difficulty.
Step 4

Clear Heaven or Hell difficulty quickly using one-hit-kill mechanics to unlock Hell and Hell difficulty.
Step 5

Clear Hell and Hell difficulty while learning enemy patterns and spawn points.
Step 6

Replay any required missions across all difficulties to earn an S rank on every difficulty mode for "Worthy of Legend".

A New Job 22.8% of players Accept a new job from Morrison after the Red Grave incident. Watch the end credits scene and defeat enough enemies during the credits to trigger the final cutscene with Morrison.

Demon Destroyer Cumulative 17.1% of players Defeat 1,000 enemies total. Slay a cumulative total of 1,000 demon enemies across all game modes.

Eagle-Eyed Difficulty 16.7% of players Destroy a certain wall in Mission 09. Summon Nightmare near the cracked wall by the tomb entrance in the ruins to shatter it.

Showtime! Difficulty 16.2% of players Complete the game on Devil Hunter mode. Finish the entire main campaign on Devil Hunter difficulty.

Pet Protection Difficulty 12.5% of players Clear Mission 05 without V's demons getting stalemated (any difficulty except Heaven or Hell). Beat Mission 05 on any difficulty other than Heaven or Hell without Shadow or Griffon's health dropping to zero and entering a stalemate.

The Quick and the Dead Cumulative 12% of players Defeat 5 enemies in 1 second. Defeat 5 enemies within a single second, easily done by using large area-of-effect attacks like Nero's fully charged Helter Skelter or Dante's Sin Devil Trigger on swarms of weak foes.

Slick Moves 11.8% of players Proceed with caution and avoid unneeded damage in Mission 15. Complete Mission 15 without taking any environmental damage from the booby traps or acidic floors.

Where the Red Orbs Grow 10.5% of players Collected Red Orbs from an unexpected spot in Mission 02. In the residential area where the road splits, jump up to the hidden rooftop on the right to discover an unexpected Red Orb cache.

Battle for the Ages Difficulty 9.4% of players Clear Missions 19 and 20 without using continues (any difficulty except Heaven or Hell). Complete both Mission 19 and Mission 20 consecutively without using any continues on any difficulty other than Heaven or Hell.

Sibling Rivalry 9.1% of players Clear all missions as Vergil. Clear every story mission from the Prologue through Mission 20 while playing as Vergil.

Concentrated Strength Collectible 7.4% of players Acquire all of Vergil's skills. Purchase all of Vergil's weapon and mobility skills from the customization shop using Red Orbs.

Demon Breeder Collectible 7.2% of players Acquire all of V's skills. Purchase and unlock every single skill available for V and his familiars in the shop.

Well I'll Be Damned 7.1% of players Wield overwhelming power to exact an unexpected conclusion. Defeat the boss Urizen during the Prologue (or Mission 08) to trigger the alternate early ending. Where: Prologue

Nothing's Impossible Collectible 6.6% of players Acquire all of Nero's skills. Purchase all of Nero's skills, abilities, and Blue Rose/Red Queen upgrades from the shop.

Unarmed and Dangerous Difficulty 5% of players Beat Mission 07 without any starting Devil Breakers equipped (any difficulty except Heaven or Hell). Start and finish Mission 07 without equipping any Devil Breakers in your initial loadout on any difficulty except Heaven or Hell.

Doing Daddy Proud Difficulty 4.9% of players Complete the game on Son of Sparda mode. Finish the entire campaign on the Son of Sparda difficulty setting.

Rearm and Repeat 4% of players Collect more than 100 Devil Breakers during missions. Pick up a cumulative total of more than 100 Devil Breakers scattered across the stages as Nero.

The Devil's Own 3.7% of players Upgrade your Devil Trigger Gauge to max. Max out your Devil Trigger Gauge to its maximum capacity by purchasing all Purple Orbs and finding all Purple Orb Fragments.

Dante The Gambler 3.7% of players Use more than 500,000 Red Orbs total with Dr. Faust. Spend a cumulative total of 500,000 or more Red Orbs attacking with Dante's Dr. Faust weapon.

Each In His Own Way 3.6% of players Clear Mission 13 with Nero, V, and Dante. Complete Mission 13 three separate times, once with Nero, once with V, and once with Dante.

Physical Perfection 3.5% of players Upgrade your vitality gauge to max. Upgrade your maximum vitality gauge to its limit by collecting all Blue Orb Fragments and purchasing every Blue Orb from the shop.

Secrets Exposed 3.3% of players Clear all secret missions. Find and successfully complete all 12 hidden Secret Missions across the campaign.

Hell of a Hunter Difficulty 3% of players Clear all missions with S rank. Achieve an S rank on every mission across all main difficulty modes (excluding Heaven or Hell).

Be the Legend Collectible 3% of players Acquire all of Dante's skills. Purchase and acquire all skills and weapon techniques for Dante in the customization shop.

Heart of a Swordsman 3% of players Clear Mission 19 as Vergil without using any weapons other than Yamato. (Heaven or Hell excluded) Clear Mission 19 as Vergil using only Yamato, without switching to the Mirage Edge or Beowulf, on any mode except Heaven or Hell.

Dance with the Devil Difficulty 2.8% of players Complete the game on Dante Must Die mode. Complete the main story campaign on Dante Must Die difficulty.

This is Power 2.4% of players Clear the Bloody Palace as Vergil. Successfully clear all 101 floors of the Bloody Palace challenge mode while playing as Vergil.

Too Easy 2.3% of players Clear the Bloody Palace with Dante. Defeat all 101 stages of the Bloody Palace mode while playing as Dante.

Slam Dunk 2% of players Clear the Bloody Palace with Nero. Reach and defeat the 101st floor of the Bloody Palace mode while playing as Nero.

Who Needs Weapons Anyway? Difficulty 1.9% of players Clear Mission 11 without equipping a weapon set for Dante (any difficulty except Heaven or Hell). Complete Mission 11 on any difficulty other than Heaven or Hell without any melee weapons or firearms equipped as Dante. This requires completing the game on Son of Sparda difficulty first to unlock the ability to unequip weapons.

Rest in Peace 1.7% of players Clear the Bloody Palace with V. Successfully defeat all 101 floors of the Bloody Palace challenge mode while playing as V.

Stairway to Heaven Difficulty 1.6% of players Complete the game on Heaven or Hell mode. Finish the game on Heaven or Hell difficulty, which unlocks after beating Dante Must Die mode and makes all enemies and the player die in a single hit.

Highway to Hell Difficulty 1.2% of players Complete the game on Hell and Hell mode. Beat the entire game on Hell and Hell difficulty, unlocked after finishing Dante Must Die, where you die in one hit (with three revives per mission) while enemies retain normal Son of Sparda health.

Worthy of Legend 1.1% of players Clear all missions with S rank on all difficulties except Heaven or Hell. Earn an S rank on every mission (Prologue through Mission 20) across Human, Devil Hunter, Son of Sparda, Dante Must Die, and Hell and Hell difficulties. Step 6
