Recommended order

1. Step 1

   Start the playthrough on Duelist difficulty preset to secure the Uphill Battle completion requirement.

2. Step 2

   Complete the introductory prologue in Laslea Glen and Coen, Chapter 1, getting accustomed to the 30-day time management system and omniblock combat mechanics.

3. Step 3

   Progress through Coen, Chapter 2 into the wider open map of Vale Sangora, visiting early settlements and synchronizing local scout towers.

4. Step 4

   Explore Altenmarkt and push through Coen, Chapter 4, tackling local Monster Lairs and Court Activities while actively leveling combat skill trees.

5. Step 5

   Traverse the Briar Sloughs into Coen, Chapter 6; create a backup manual save near the Coward's Path shrine at night to cross the ravine chasm and trigger the early retreat ending for "A Hero They Deserve", then immediately reload.

6. Step 6

   Advance through Coen, Chapter 7 and make entrance into Svartrau City to unlock regional exploration milestones and advance urban questlines.

7. Step 7

   Complete Coen, Chapter 8 and infiltrate the Svartrau Cathedral district, steadily raising regional infamy across Vale Sangora toward peak level.

8. Step 8

   Clear Coen, Chapter 10 and Coen, Chapter 11 while finishing all time-sensitive side quests and rescuing Coen's family well before the 30-day limit expires.

9. Step 9

   Gather at the Silty Mug Inn to finalize alliances, companion-specific objectives, and unlock high-tier vampiric, witchcraft, and swordmastery ultimate perks.

    Reach Brencis's Stronghold and create a dedicated manual save slot prior to breaching the inner sanctum.

11. Step 11

    Complete Coen, Chapter 13 on Duelist difficulty to trigger an ending and unlock Uphill Battle alongside The Blood of Dawnwalker.
